Meine 5 besten Tipps für den Fernunterricht in der Grundschule
Wie kann der Unterricht aus der Ferne in der Grundschule gelingen und was haben Videokonferenzen mit PrimarstufenschülerInnen eigentlich zum Ziel. Darüber möchte ich hier kurz schreiben.
Erstens: ich halte es für wichtig und wertvoll auch mit GrundschülerInnen digital zu arbeiten. Ich halte nichts davon, sich auf Aussagen wie „Digitaler Unterricht oder digitale Medien haben in der Grundschule nichts zu suchen.“ auszuruhen.
Ich finde es grotesk, Eltern in Scharren in die Schule zu ordern um stapelweise gefällte Bäume…äh….Arbeitsblätter abzuholen. Ich bin aber auch voller Verständnis und Empathie für die KollegInnen, die nun, angesichts der neuen Arbeitsbedingungen schlichtweg überfordert sind und ich kann das Argument „Dafür wurde ich nicht ausgebildet, das hat mir nie jemand gezeigt!“ absolut nachvollziehen.
Zweitens: Es nützt nun mal alles nichts. Auch in dieser Situation gilt: „Man wächst mit seinen Aufgaben.“ und wir als Lehrkräfte dürfen uns einfach einlassen auf diese neue, veränderte Situation und das Beste draus machen. So geht es schließlich unseren SchülerInnen und den Eltern auch.
Fernunterricht: der Versuch Nähe trotz Distanz herzustellen
Das ist eines meiner Hauptanliegen im Fernunterricht. Wir sind getrennt von unseren SchülerInnen, eine unmittelbare Interaktion ist selbst bei Videokonferenzen und stabiler Verbindung (und das ist schon eher selten!) nicht mehr so möglich wie wir es gewohnt sind. Hier meine Tipps:
1. Arbeite mit einem Padlet
Mancherorts gibt es damit Schwierigkeiten wegen eventueller Datenschutzverstöße. Ich finde: es benutzen mittlerweile so viele Schulen Padlets, dass man im Zweifelsfalle den Prozess schon gewinnen wird 🙂
Und das Teil ist einfach U N E N D L I C H praktisch. Zur Sicherheit habe ich die Kommentarfunktion auf dem Padlet für meine Klasse ausgeschaltet, ich veröffentlich darauf keine personenbezogenen Daten meiner Schüler. Rauf kommt nur, wer den Link hat und gut ist.
Beim Erstellen des Padlet empfehle ich die Auswahl „Regal“ und damit lassen sich prima für jedes Fach einzelne Spalten anlegen. Man kann Dateien, also Arbeitsblätter hochladen, Videos verlinken oder, und hier kommt Tipp 2, Loom-Videos drehen:
2. Benutze Loom um deine Aufgaben zu erklären
Loom ist ein megacooles Tool. Hast du das Arbeitsblatt auf deinem Rechner geöffnet und startest die Loom App, dann wird ein Video von dir als Miniformat in das Arbeitsblatt projiziert. Du kannst durch die Aufgaben oder den Wochenplan gehen und gleichzeitig erläutern, was es damit auf sich hat. Für deine SchülerInnen eine echte Erleichterung, die Herstellung von Nähe, weniger Frust, weil sie genau sehen können wovon du sprichst und für dich am Ende eine Arbeitserleichterung und Hilfestellung bei der Herstellung von Nähe.
3. We-Gefühl und Videokonferenzen
Hast du das Glück und hast Zugang zu einer Plattform auf der die Videokonferenzen gut laufen, dann geht es in diesen hauptsächlich um das soziale Miteinander. Den Kindern die Möglichkeit zu geben ihre MitschülerInnen und natürlich dich zu sehen, von ihren Erlebnissen (außerschulisch!) zu berichten, mal die ein oder andere dicke Katze ins Bild zu halten und sie einfach mit einem guten Gefühl wieder zu entlassen. Natürlich kann man auch mal Fragen wie es mit den Aufgaben läuft, vielleicht auch mal etwas erklären, aber das sollte meiner Meinung nach nicht im Fokus stehen. 4. YouTube-Videos anstelle von Videokonferenzen
Ok, ich gebe es zu. Manchmal ist es einfach nicht möglich eine Videokonferenz abzuhalten. Das kann an technischen Schwierigkeiten genauso liegen wie an der Lerngruppe oder der Zeit die man (nicht) hat. Die Lehrerinnen meiner großen Tochter (1. Klasse) haben dafür eine, wie ich finde, tolle Lösung gefunden: Sie nehmen ein Video auf, stellen es bei Youtube ein (dort kann man einstellen, dass nur Personen mit dem entsprechenden Link das Video sehen können) und leitet es an uns Eltern weiter. Meine Tochter freut sich jedesmal, wenn sie das Begrüßungslied und ihre Lehrerinnen hört. Die Aufgaben sind sogar so gestellt, dass man parallel zum Video mit machen kann. Ich finde diese Idee toll. Man braucht sowohl als Lehrkraft, als auch als Elternteil im Prinzip nur ein Handy und schon läuft es. Auch hier wird meiner Meinung nach wieder mehr Nähe hergestellt als alleine über die Arbeitszettel.
5. Cool bleiben und mein altes Motto „Schule ist ein Teamsport“
Last but not least: Cool bleiben. Es ist wie immer, es gibt KollegInnen die machen mehr, andere machen weniger, an einigen Schulen ist das erlaubt, an anderen dies. Es kommen täglich neue Botschaften, mal gute, meist eher schlechte.
Ich finde wir als LehrerInnen dürfen cool bleiben. Man muss sich nicht die Nächte um die Ohren hauen, um ein digitales Tool zu verstehen. Ich habe mich gerade am Wochenende mit einer Kollegin getroffen, um ihr Padlet näher zu bringen. Wie und ob sie es verwendet ist ihre Entscheidung. Wir sollten gerade in dieser Zeit aus der Bewertung rausgehen, versuchen zu helfen, unser Wissen zu teilen, achtsam bleiben in der Kommunikation mit Eltern und SchülerInnen und dann aber auch Feierabend machen. Irgendwann ist es mal gut und ich finde wir machen gerade einen tollen Job!
